About Us – Oasis Art + Play Studio

Oasis Art + Play Studio was inspired by a desire to create beautiful, soothing indoor spaces where children can grow in creativity and curiosity. In a world where kids' activities tend to be overstimulating or overly structured, Oasis is a breath of fresh air.

A Sanctuary for Serious Art – and Serious Joy

Founded as a process-art haven, Oasis has evolved into Delhi’s first family-centred fine-arts studio that balances structured skill-building with process-orientation and individual creativity. We believe a child can chase mastery and imagination in the same brush-stroke.

  • We're Building Artistic Mastery

We are moving beyond “arts and crafts” to launch our MasterStrokes Fine Arts Programme—a sequenced path that guides children aged 9+ from drawing basics to portfolio-ready work. Alongside, our forthcoming Teacher Training Academy and school–partnership model will take Oasis quality into classrooms across India, widening every child’s access to rigorous art education.

  •  We’re Becoming More Flexible

Families can now pick the format that fits: weekday structured classes, Saturday relaxed “Pick-Your-Own-Project” hours, or our soon-to-arrive at-home curriculum. Whatever the rhythm, each session is built on clear learning objectives and gentle mentorship, ensuring measurable progress—no pressure, just purposeful growth.

  • We’re Inspiring Creativity

From toddlers exploring colour to grandparents refining portrait techniques, Oasis welcomes lifelong learners. Each session—whether family workshops, teen studios, or adult masterclasses—keeps our founding principle of process-first exploration alive. Participants experiment freely, then layer structured art skill-building on top, so creativity stays joyful while the results become truly impactful.

From The Founder's Desk – Prerna Khurana

I often say that building Oasis has been a labour of love. As a mother to two beautiful, spirited daughters, I aimed to create a calm, uplifting space for them and all children, where imagination can roam free — much like the vibrant art studios I’ve sought out on my travels around the world.

With more than fifteen years in business, a foundation in economics, language teaching, and curriculum development—and a personal fascination with calligraphy, knitting, and the quiet focus they require—I weave these varied threads into the fabric of Oasis every day.

Together with my dedicated team of art educators and specialists, I want everyone who crosses our threshold to leave believing, “I am creative.” Our vision reaches far beyond traditional painting classes: Oasis exists to show that creativity is a lifelong mindset—one that transforms how children, and indeed all of us, see, think, and engage with the world long after the lesson ends.
